As a SR LED System Electronics Technician for OSRAM SYLVANIA you will be responsible for:
Validation of power supplies and LED modules for Solid State Lighting applications. This entails electric safety, performance and reliability measurements of the LED drive circuits. Performing routine duties in fabrication, testing, debugging and documentation of PCB assemblies.
Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Performing qualification tests related to safety, electrical, thermal, EMC and environmental
requirements.
Documenting the experimental measurement results in written reports.
Assembly and preparation of prototypes, samples and test fixtures.
Working from written/verbal instructions, specs, technical manuals and engineering sketches.
Using a variety of hand tools, test equipment and oscilloscopes
Ordering components and supplies.
Qualifications:
Good skills in soldering surface mount and through hole components is required
Good electro-mechanical skills required, machine shop skills are a plus
Knowledge of UL and EMI requirements for lighting systems and electronic power supplies are a plus
Skilled in the use of an oscilloscope for taking voltage, current and power measurements.
Requirements:
