Manufacturing Engineer Job #2823 Cleveland area, Ohio
Compensation: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour.
Local company in the Cleveland, Ohio area is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to fill a current opening.
Requirements:
• Two or four year technical or engineering degree or equivalent experience and skills (Mechanical preferred)
• Minimum two years working within technical engineering and manufacturing organizations
• Must be very "at home" in a manufacturing environment and be immediately productive
• Proficiency and experience with computer software tools including:
? Microsoft Office
? Basic image manipulation in programs such as Microsoft Paint, GIMP, or Photoshop
? Email communications
? Internet research
? Experience with ERP/MRP system(s)
? Pro Engineering or other CAD experience desired
• Technical aptitude and experience
• Able to learn, understand, and apply technical subject matter
• Able to learn, understand, and apply technical organizational processes
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Software / Programming knowledge desired
• Familiarity with GMP and/or ISO 9001/9002 desired
Position Responsibilities:
• Plans and coordinates production manufacturing processes.
• Provides first-line support in identifying and characterizing manufacturing problems that require engineering assistance
• Works with Product Managers and Test Engineering to monitor product quality to identify and correct manufacturing problems rooted in the product design or manufacturing process
• Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods
• Conceives of and prototypes design changes to improve manufacturing reliability or efficiency
• Performs, manages, and assists with validation of manufacturing processes and tools
• Works in conjunction with other engineers to define manufacturing testing methodologies, process, and tools
• Collaborates with design engineers in the creation and maintenance of engineering documentation for manufacturing, including work instructions
• Subject to change, other duties may be assigned
