These panels go into a wide range of markets spanning from Transportation, Building & Construction, Agriculture, and Ballistics. Your unique role with the company: While reporting to the President of the company you will provide leadership, participate in strategic activities, and direct the manufacturing team toward company goals. This is a highly strategic role where you will be aiding senior management on strategy for new expansion and growth of business. This position has 4 direct reports consisting of a Safety Manager, Scheduling Manager, Purchasing Manager, and Shipping and Receiving Manager. You will ensure plant compliance with federal, state, and company mandated regulations. While having responsibility for P&L for the plant and managing the budget. In this role you will closely work with sales, safety, manufacturing engineering, and other cross functional departments as appropriate. You will develop strategies for optimizing ROI on all plant resources and ensure proper utilization of ERP system for inventory control, cost accounting and production planning.

What we are looking for in a Candidate:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in related discipline (e.g., Business Administration, Engineering or related discipline)
  • Years of Experience: 10+ years of manufacturing experience, 5+ years of Operations Management or equivalent combination of education and training
  • Experience and knowledge of ERP systems
  • Familiarity with and ability to apply Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Excellent analytical skills; Ability to collect and analyze data and present findings
  • Solid ability in identifying and resolving problems in a timely, effective manner
  • Ability to collaborate and influence key members of management team and across plant functions
