Maintenance Supervisor – Global Manufacturing Company
Your Role with the Company:
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of hourly skilled maintenance and general labor employees. You will supervise glass container lines while efficiently maximizing the utilization of equipment through a sound preventative maintenance program. This is a
Monday – Friday position
with weekend coverage once every 4 weeks
What you will be doing:
Organize and coordinate the maintenance/breakdowns of equipment, including maintaining a necessary inventory of replacement parts.
Provide regular training of personnel a needed to maintain new and existing equipment and ensure good GMP principles are followed.
Develop and maintain a constant safety environment and provide necessary training updates while striving for zero accidents and complying with OHSA standards.
Develop and implement process controls to provide continuous improvement.
Establish and maintain positive/team relations with employees, other departments, customers and the Union.
Maintain administrative records in a timely fashion necessary to comply with job requirements such as manning scheduling, maintenance activities, attendance, grievance documentation and capital projects.
What you will need:
B.S. in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or related.
Maintenance Supervision experience in a manufacturing environment.
Heavy electrical/electronics experience.
Ability to troubleshoot and some basic programming of PLC’s.
Exposure to Preventative Maintenance.
Strong leadership skills.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or a permanent resident
