The Manufacturing Engineer will plan, direct, coordinate and implement manufacturing processes, work cell layouts in regards to New Model (pre-production) product development and Mass Production launch. The Manufacturing Engineer will develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, packaging, fabrication processes and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods and quality control standards.
The Manufacturing Engineer will analyze and plan work force utilization and manning requirements, workflow design layouts of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency in CAD software. They work closely with equipment vendors to support all required outside activities. Estimate production times and targets, manufacturing capabilities, operating efficiencies, miscellaneous packaging concepts, etc. Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and formulate continuous improvement strategies.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
Minimum of 2-5 years of professional working experience out of a manufacturing environment
