Position Summary:
 
Seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Pre Production, Facilities, Maintenance, Services Manager Position, Include Inside + Outside Service Providers, Contractors, New Construction, Not including Production of a rapidly growing contract manufacturer.
 
This positon is reporting to the Vice President and General Manager of our client company.
 
MUST: They need to be Engineering Degreed and
Must come from the following 4 industries:
Manufacturing Consumer Packaged Goods Industry ( CPG ) NEW, Health and Beauty Products Industry, Pharmaceutical Industry, Food and beverage Industry
 
MUST: be a high Energy strong engineer with management and hands on experience in: manufacturing, engineering, facilities, production, equipment, maintenance, new construction, contracts, the business side of plants and engineering. 
 
MUST: be familiar with: Electro-mechanical, electrical and mechanically, VERY high speed, VERY highly automated manufacturing equipment.
 
All the products are compounded and made from solid, powders and liquid materials making up some form of final liquids product with Electro-mechanical, electrical and mechanically, VERY high speed, VERY highly automated manufacturing equipment doing the process from beginning to shipping.
 
This Manufacturing Services Manager will coordinate the activities of all personnel to support the manufacturing and packaging process. They will support the vision of the organization and develop and implement new operating and engineering strategies based off key performance objectives. The right person will collaborate with the leadership and operating functions to establish best practices and processes. They will develop project proposals, plans, scheduling and oversee the projects to a successful conclusion. This role will develop and optimize the development of the staff with optimal training, tools, and an empowering environment. The Manufacturing Services Manager will ensure all GMP, SOP, Safety, and cross training is scheduled regularly and ensure internal audits, regulations, laws, OSHA, and governmental statues are adhered to. All Manufacturing KPIs related to productivity, quality, safety, maintenance, and environmental control will fall under this person's responsibilities.
 
This position is responsible for manufacturing engineering, facilities engineering management, production, process, continuous improvement, tooling, implementing the customer design into manufacturing and planning, try outs on the manufacturing floor of new products, refine process, be responsible on FEEDING ALL THE COSTS for PRICING the product to sales and finance people, PRICING THE PRODUCT WITH THE SALES People to the CUSTOMER and spec’ing out new equipment for purchasing.  This person, position must figure out, plan out what equipment needs to be spec ed out and purchased and or designed for production, boxing, labeling (make and apply the labels), packaging products

Required Skills & Qualifications
?         10+ years in Operations management in Contract Manufacturing or Packaging
?         BS Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering
?         Industrial and Process (continuous & batch) Manufacturing Experience is needed
?         Experience in Automation and Assembly is expected
The customer comes to our client company with a product design and or concept, this position is responsible for taking the design or and concept and possibly guiding, participating in the advanced engineering of the product necessary for it to make it manufacturable for the manufacturing floor
 
The customer will say we want this much product by these dates: and this position, person the Manufacturing Engineering, Facilities, and Services Manager Position takes the product from there to out the door shipped, responsible for some design modifications for manufacturing, all process, assisting in the design of the equipment with the suppliers, spec’ing out the equipment for purchase, tooling, bottling, filling, capping, creating the labels, labeling, boxing out the door shipped at a high speed of  containers.
 
This positon is responsible for managing the flow, manufacturing, engineering, costing, maintenance, facilities.
 
The Automotive industry takes 2 years to design and implement this process that our client company does in 2 months.

 This product is shipped to the customer distribution centers and in some cases directly to the RETAIL STORES FOR IN THE STORE SALES TO THE END RETAIL CUSTOMER, spec’ing out new equipment for purchasing.  This person, position must figure out, plan out what equipment needs to be spec ed out and purchased and or designed for production, boxing, labeling (make and apply the labels), packaging products.
 
MUST be familiar with Electro-mechanical, electrical and mechanically, VERY high speed, VERY highly automated manufacturing equipment,  mixing and compounding, powders and liquids for a wide range thick to thin liquid products bottled in plastic and glass containers put in boxes for shipping, moving the product automatically from station to station down the line, filling bottles and or boxes, bottling on a conveyer belt,  capping, boxing, labeling, ready to ship: products for retail consumer sales.
