Plant Manager – Packaging experience
Are you a Plant Manager with Packaging experience that is highly emotionally intelligent, a collaborative leader, has proven experience driving employee engagement, developing high performing teams and you have proven experience improving the bottom line all while holding people accountable? 5+ years of Plant Management experience in Packaging
Proven experience in Lean implementation and deployment with the Toyota Production System. REQUIRED
Proven strong collaborative leadership experience
Change Management experience
Proven ability to motivate, mentor and coach both Direct Reports and shop floor employees
3+ years of full P&L experience and strong business acumen
Proven experience in driving Employee Engagement
Extensive experience in problem-solving
Proven conflict management experience
Quality experience highly preferred
TPM experience highly preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong presentation skills and ability to create presentations with Microsoft PowerPoint.
Very organized with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to work well with all levels of the organization
Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification, highly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to lead kaizen improvement events
Ability to travel 10-25%
Bachelor’s Degree Required
Key Responsibilities Include:
Responsible for Plant Operations including Production, Quality, Engineering, HR and Administration
Responsible for the Safety of all employees at the plant, ensuring that employee safety is the number 1 concern.
Responsible for plant budget and meeting overall business plans and objectives
Develop high performing teams ensuring that the right people are in the right roles.
Deploy and drive a culture of Continuous Improvement using Lean principles and tools
Drive employee engagement and accountability at all levels
Effectively coach and mentor direct reports and team members to maximize results.
Visit plant’s customers to maintain effective work relationships and make sure that customer is happy.
