Your unique role in this organization would be:
This is a hands-on opportunity, responsible for the product design layout as well as the QA documentation for prototype and production activities. Maintaining the product design catalog along with the related detailed drawings and images will be essential to this position.
The Product Designer will determine the feasibility of product proposals while conferring with product development personnel to prepare any design modifications required.
To be successful in this role:
You should have a minimum of an Associate’s Degree and 2 to 5 years of related experience and/or training. Ability to read, analyze and interpret scientific/technical journals, financial reports and legal documents.
Experienced in the design of rigid plastics (injection molded, blow molded, thermoformed, or tooling/molds). Plastic packaging design experience is a plus!
Experience with 3D software, SolidWorks highly preferred
SolidWorks certification is a plus!
Understanding abstract and concrete variables while utilizing logical/scientific thinking will be vital for this setting.
