Sr. Tooling Engineer

Medical Plastic Products Group/Division
Scope of Position:
Provide tooling support for Division-wide (Medical Plastic Products) multi-plant injection molding projects.
Maintains knowledge and finds opportunities for new manufacturing technology to support mission of the highest quality and lowest manufacturing cost. Drive implementation of Division Engineering Tooling Strategy. Continuous improvement activities. Cost reduction and quality improvement. Intellectual Property management.
Construction of new tooling. Work with tooling vendors and process engineers in the debug and validation of new tooling.
Up to 40%, including International, average 1 week per month.
Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time:
You will typically work M-F, first shift, but be available to support off hours as needed.
Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
Required Years and Area of Experience:
Minimum of 5+ years in a tooling engineering role with a preference working with injection molding process development and debug.
CAD experience, preferably Solidworks.
Track record of delivering results.
Demonstrated knowledge in a technical field.
Project team leadership.
Forward-thinking experience within the field of engineering.
Desired Experience / Qualifications / Skills:
Masters of Science (Engineering or Applied Science).
Scientific injection molding knowledge.
RJG Master Molder 1 training or equivalent.
Yellow Belt Performance Excellence training.
