DescriptionMAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR-NORWALK, IOWA
DUTIES:
Maintenance Supervisor is accountable for the effective management of a maintenance unit comprised of 20 - 30 hourly teammates.
Responsible for the implementation of policies and procedures necessary to achieve Corporate, Plant, Departmental and unit goals.
Coordination of unit operation with other departmental units, producing, service, and staff departments.
Make decisions within the scope of authority delegated by department manager and/or foreman.
Will oversee mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment projects.
REQUIREMENTS:
4 or 2 year degree preferred.
7-10 years union manufacturing plant maintenance experience.
Experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic applications.
Experience with equipment installation and equipment repairs.
Experience with preventive maintenance systems and schedules.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Effective employee supervision skills.
Must be able to work rotating shifts.
