2-5 years experience in distribution environment preferred
As an Industrial Engineer within Distribution, you will assist in the following: Production Planning, Efficiency Studies, Workflow Analysis, Operational Improvements, Data Integrity, Space Planning, Production Reporting and Quality Audits.
The successful candidate must possess the ability to undertake a variety of duties while maintaining a strong working relationship with the Distribution staff.
- Drive the analytical work streams of short and long term strategic plans as it relates to the DC and Transportation network
- Build and develop supply chain opportunities and recommend directions based on industry knowledge, and prior network analysis (e.g. cost savings, service constraints, inventory management, etc.)
New Process & Statistical Development
- Provide expertise around new process development and execute the integration of people, systems, and technology
- Lead the analytical assessments of strategic modeling by applying knowledge and tools of statistics, simulation software, and other modeling tools
Leadership
- Lead cross-functional teams to drive for results
- Act as a mentor and coach for junior level engineers across the Logistics Strategy organization
- Effectively manage key stakeholders across Logistics functions and brands to drive change and results
· 4-year Industrial Engineering degree is REQUIRED
Automated Materials Handling Systems knowledge
Trouble-shooting skills
Distribution Center Productivity and Quality Improvement programs
Statistical Process Control
Minimum 1 years working in Logistics field preferred
· May require up to 15% travel
